Wesman Low-Level Reclamation Systems feature a unique vertical vibratory elevator, which eliminates the requirement for expensive pit work where a low-level shakeout facility is required. In addition, the floor space required for the plant installation is minimized.
The system utilizes multiple screens, starting with a shakeout deck built with heavy-duty slotted steel plate, followed by a primary screen of heavy duty perforated steel plate (6mm aperture), a secondary screen of stainless steel wedge wire (1.5mm aperture) and finally an elevated screen constructed of high tensile stainless steel interwoven mesh. Liner plates are fitted to high wear areas of the body shell.
A removable clean-out door the rear of the unit allows easy removal of large metallics and non-degradable material. Periodic removal is required to maintain throughput and reduce wear. Fine metallics and sand agglomerates are discharged continuously via the tertiary screen situated in the elevator outlet.
Classification is achieved by a fluid bed powered by a high pressure single stage fan. Where cooling is required, an integral heat exchanger is incorporated in the fluid bed with appropriate water cooling system.
A freestanding three-sided environmental dust hood is supplied with the compact vibratory attrition unit for effective collection of fume and dust generated by the integral shakeout deck. The dust hood should be connected to a dust extraction plant.
