WESMAN DUCT BURNER
Wesman’s Duct Burner comes in a modular design with a maximum capacity of 1 MBTU each. Depending on the customer’s application, multiple modules can be used together to increase the capacity of the duct burner in the required configuration.
KEY FEATURES
- Rugged Construction: Our duct burners are manufactured taking into consideration the customers heating requirements. For lower temperature applications, we use mild steel. For higher temperature applications, we use stainless steel or alloy steel.
- Spark Ignition: Lighting up the burner can be done using spark igniters for high CV gases, while we use gas pilots for low CV gases for better light up.
- Duct Design: We can supply custom designed duct burners with different shapes and configurations depending on the application.
- Flame Sensing: Our burners are designed to provide a steady flame with superior temperature uniformity. We supply our duct burners with UV sensors and flame rods.
- Turn Down Ratio: Our burners can provide a turndown as high as 30:1.
APPLICATIONS
Our Duct Burners are used for Air Drying/Heating in multiple industries. It can be used for low, medium and high heating in the following applications:
- Hot Air Generators: Many plants use hot air for their heating and production requirements. A few examples are Cement, Paper and Steel. Our duct burners can be used to supply the heat required for these and other applications.
- Heat Recovery Steam Generators: Supplementary firing is often needed to increase the production of steam from a boiler. We can supply the duct burners required for these heat recovery steam generators.
- Fluidized Bed Boilers: Our duct burner can be utilized as a start up burner for fluidized bed boilers. It is installed in the combustion air duct and used to heat up the bed till the air is preheated and the boiler bed is able to sustain combustion without further support.
- Flue Gas Incineration: Our duct burners can be used for incinerating the exhaust gases in the chimney. Duct burners have the advantage of not using outside air (blowers), thus increasing thermal efficiency and lowering operating costs.
- Chimney Exhaust Heating: Processes that require the reduction of steam in their chimneys to reduce corrosion can install our duct burners to reduce water vapor from their exhaust. In addition, some processes may utilize the duct burner to increase the natural draft of the chimney, thereby eliminating the need for an induced draft fan.
