ADVANTAGES

Complete treatment cycle takes place in a protective atmosphere, preventing oxide formation during entire treatment. Treatment and transfer of load in furnace is fully automatic within the unit.

Pre-programmable temperature and carburizing curves for the complete heat treatment cycle

Rapid change from one treatment process to another

Optional cooling of the charge in oil or in circulated or static protective gas

Low protective gas consumption

Low outer furnace wall temperature

No lifting equipment needed for loading and unloading workbaskets

High output with low space requirement. No foundations are needed for erection, and units are delivered ready for service connections to be made

ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT

WASHERS provide thorough cleaning of parts prior to and after heat treatment. Their design and dimensions are coordinated to match Wesman Ipsen’s automatic heat treating units, allowing them to be incorporated into an installation at any time. Available in spray and immersion models.
LOADERS allow safe and easy loading into the furnace chamber, with electromechanically driven pushbar to position the charge precisely and squarely in the furnace. A single roller unit can serve a complete group of furnaces. Available with either stationary or transversely driven conveyor roller track.

UNLOADERS unload the charge from the cooling chamber and transport it to the next process in the sequence. Power traversing versions reduce operator fatigue, increasing the operating efficiency of any installation.
ENDOGAS GENERATORS produce endothermic protective gas atmosphere or carrier gas for heat treatment. Available in capacities from 350 cfh to 6000 cfh in either gas-fired or electrically heated models.
