BELL FURNACES
The Bell furnaces type CB are the ideal alternative to Pit type furnaces and can be used for diverse heat treatment applications like hardening, carburizing, annealing etc. They are used primarily for handling big size charge and as compared to Pit furnaces, the bell furnace installation can be fully automated with loading and unloading done by specially designed automatic manipulator.
Though these furnaces are normally tailor made but standard sizes suitable for maximum operating temperature of 9800C and capable to handle charge of 2000-3500 mm in diameter and 1500-3000 mm in height for charge batch capacity between 5-15 tons are available. Heating can be by electricity or gas while the gassing system can be with Endo Gas, Nitrogen + Methanol or Nitrogen.
